As a Talent Acquisition Co-op, you will be responsible for pproviding support, increasing efficiencies and working on projects that help drive our talent acquisition priorities especially our diversity and alumni efforts.

What you will be doing:

  • Writes creative job postings based on job descriptions
  • Will work with our external advertising agency on creative job postings to ensure they are gender neutral
  • Post jobs to diversity, college career boards, and support specialty postings to Glassdoor, LinkedIn, etc…
  • Schedules and coordinates interviews for diverse panels
  • Support event management for national diversity conferences
  • Assist with building and coordinating our alumni efforts
  • Performs a variety of administrative functions and provides project management support for the Talent Acquisition team
  • Manage and maintain electronic files in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and on our internal shared drives
  • Generates reports, analyzes data, and handles multiple projects
  • Other duties as assigned


Job Requirements:

  • This is a co-op position – it requires 40 hours a week of work for 6 months (January – June 2019)
  • Must be enrolled as a full time student
  • Requires a high school diploma with 0-2 years of experience in the field of Communications/Journalism/English or in a Human Resources or Business related area
  • Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the Human Resources field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to maintain a positive attitude; and solid customer service skills
  • Ability to thrive and enjoy working in a collaborative team environment
  • Proficiency with MS Office products (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Outlook)
