As a Teacher in our Back Up Care Program, you will help curious, young minds discover the happiness of learning in an inspiring and fun classroom environment during families’ critical time of need. Our program supports families when their regularly scheduled care falls through – and ensures that their child will be taken care of in a high quality center. This is a wonderful opportunity to work with a variety of students as determined by the needs of families, where no two days are the same. As you engage a mix of new and returning children into our inviting classroom settings, you will be making a positive impact in their lives.

What you will do as a Teacher, Back Up Program
  • Feel a sense of accomplishment as you help new and returning students and families transition comfortably to a new classroom setting
  • Inspire and engage children in emergent curriculum while growing your career alongside talented early childhood professionals
  • Communicate with parents daily, sharing their children’s latest adventures, achievements, and progress through mobile technology and personal discussions

Job Requirements:

What we are looking for
  • Minimum age of 18
  • Hold a High School Diploma/GED
  • Previous experience working with young children
  • Meet state educational licensing and additional center/school requirements
  • A passion for child care and making a difference in the lives of young children
We do give preference to child care teachers with the following:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • CDA or Associate’s degree in Early Childhood education or related field
  • Have 12 months of professional teaching experience in a classroom
