Job Requirements:

Who We Are Looking For

In order to join our team as a child care teacher you must:
  • Be a minimum of 18 years of age
  • Hold a High School Diploma/GED
  • Demonstrate experience working with young children
We do give preference to child care teachers with the following:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • A CDA or Associate’s in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Have 12 months of professional teaching experience in a classroom
You must also meet state licensing requirements for education and additional center/school requirements.
  • Working with the Infant and Young Toddler age group requires a candidate who is at least 21 years of age and an Associates or CDA. For Twos and Preschool Teachers, must have New York State Certification in N-6, B-2, 1-6 or Special Education. Study plan eligible candidates will be considered.
