Job Description:

The Blog Manager will be responsible for the management, planning, scheduling and reporting of our B2B and B2C blogs. Collaborates with the programs marketing teams to define outreach plans and support online campaigns to achieve lead targets. Responsible for the overall strategy and content calendar for B2B and B2C goals.

What you will be doing:

  • Ownership and curation of blog strategy and content calendar to support B2C & B2B goals
  • Execution and deployment of posts within multiple CMS platforms (ex. WordPress, Sitecore) – including, but not limited to, placement of copy, images, links, CTA’s, SEO optimization, and scheduling of posts
  • Manage production from existing blog authors and content owners. Work to secure additional authors and contributors, both internal and external
  • Incorporate SEO best practices to ensure optimization of blog content for search engines, including target keywords, meta data, internal links
  • Partner with Digital Team and external agencies to ensure maintenance and upkeep of blogs – curation of featured content, trending topics, blog speed/performance, uptime, site updates, etc.
  • Report on blog performance within Google Analytics. Develop monthly reporting dashboard, and additional ad hoc reporting, as needed
  • Ownership of blog-related B2B communications - bi-weekly newsletter, new subscriber emails, weekly internal Bright Horizons emails, etc.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or related field of study
  • 2-3 years of marketing and content creation experience
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills
  • Excellent organizational skills to work independently and manage projects with many moving parts
  • An analytical mind and interest in using data to optimize/scale blog marketing strategies and tactics
  • SEO (search engine optimization) experience
  • Previous blog management experience including strategy development, calendar maintenance, promotion and reporting
  • Familiarity with popular Content Management Experience (CMS) programs including Sitecore, Wordpress etc.
